Immediate opportunity exists for Packhouse Staff to join our busy 100% Australian locally owned and operated family business with over 20 years of experience in horticultural farming. Situated in the beautiful coastal town of Bundaberg Queensland.
The role will see you playing a vital part in our production operation.
You will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to move produce and materials within the packing shed and production areas. Your attention to detail, commitment to safety and ability to work efficiently and effectively within a team will be essential in ensuring the smooth flow of our production process.
Core responsibilities of this role include:
* Operate a forklift to transport produce within the packing shed and production areas.
* Load and unload materials and produce from trucks and production equipment.
* Ensure the safe and efficient movements of produce, maintaining inventory accuracy.
* Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team and prioritise tasks.
* Completion of documentation and reports as required.
* Adherence to workplace health and safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
* Perform other duties as required to support overall running of the Packing Warehouse efficiently.
* Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of production equipment and work areas.
Core requirements for this role include:
* Current Forklift Licence.
* Strong commitment to safety in the workplace.

* Previous experience desirable.
