Chef – Full Time Tandoori Place Restaurant (Nirbhau Investment Pty Ltd) is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team on a full-time basis at our Gold Coast restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting the efficient operation of the kitchen. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with the restaurant’s menu and standards • Assist in planning menus and developing new dishes • Manage food preparation and cooking processes • Supervise kitchen staff and assist with training where required • Ensure all food is prepared and presented to a high standard • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations • Work collaboratively with management and kitchen staff to maintain efficient service Qualifications and Experience • Minimum 1 year experience working as a Chef in a commercial kitchen • Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment • Good communication and teamwork skills • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends Salary : $76,000 to $80,000 per year plus superannuation. This is a full-time position.
