Job Summary:
The role of Electrical Maintenance Specialist involves ensuring the smooth operation of fixed plant and site infrastructure. This requires inspecting electrical systems, equipment, and components for hazards and defects, assisting with maintenance plans, and providing electrical services for unplanned maintenance and breakdowns.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong instrumentation background, electrical fault finding skills, and computer literacy. A WA Electrical Workers Licence – A Grade is essential, along with dual Electrical Trades and Instrument Technician qualifications and at least 3 years of experience in a similar fixed plant role in a mining environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Inspecting electrical systems, equipment, and components for hazards and defects
* Assisting with maintenance plans and providing electrical services for unplanned maintenance and breakdowns
* Ensuring compliance with relevant electrical regulations and industry standards
* Maintaining accurate records
* Providing mentoring and supervision to junior personnel
