About the Opportunity:
Sunshine Coast based with some regional travel
The role of a Mentor and Development Coach is to work with our Early Childhood Education and Care employer partners. You will be part of our Industry Graduates team and also integrate into the employer's internal learning academy, working to achieve the career and professional development goals of educators and the organization. This role involves immersing yourself in the organization's culture, becoming part of the team, and seeing first-hand how your coaching and development contribute to the service.
About the role:
* Ensure best practice operational policies and procedures are implemented and assessed against the national quality framework.
* Deliver a comprehensive Learning & Development program for all Early Childhood Service employees aligned with their career pathways.
* Manage trainee educator experiences and development.
* Provide on-the-job mentoring during client workplace visits.
* Collaborate with leaders to ensure educators achieve their development goals.
* Develop cooperative relationships with leaders to align training and development with operational objectives.
* Support through a Leadership and Management Micro-credential pathway to enhance coaching skills.
* Support enrollment in a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) if not already held.
About the Individual:
* Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Education professional with strong industry experience.
* Passionate about developing and mentoring others.
* High attention to detail, excellent communication, customer engagement, and negotiation skills.
* Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle.
