Assistant Manager - Mackay Store
Reporting to the Retail Business Leader (store manager), you will lead the daily operations of the store to support business growth objectives. You will proactively identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiencies, manage staff rostering and control costs. You will equip your team with the training, tools and resources to succeed and inspire a high‐performing culture that prioritises safety and delivers a fantastic place to shop and work.
About You
* 2+ years of retail experience with proven leadership and coaching ability.
* Ability to analyze financial data to meet targets and support operational excellence.
* Commitment to continuous learning for yourself and your team.
* Willingness to complete relevant qualifications (e.g., Cert III Retail) and invest in ongoing learning.
* Comfortable giving feedback and navigating challenging situations.
* Strong focus on safety for team and customers.
