About the Opportunity
Australian Agribusiness is currently seeking a permanent full time Service Technician to join our team at Blacktown. Reporting to the Technical Service Manager, the primary purpose of this role is to perform diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on a range of turf and grounds maintenance equipment, both in-house and onsite, whilst supporting Nuturf Equipment Solutions' growth across the business.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):
· Conducting diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on turf and grounds maintenance equipment, to the highest standards and compliance requirements.
· Providing timely onsite repairs and maintenance to our customers.
· Performing pre-delivery inspections on new equipment prior to dispatch.
· Maintaining accurate service records and documentation, including work completed and parts used.
· Assisting in ensuring accurate stock levels of parts and consumables are maintained for servicing.
· Assisting in managing service schedules to minimise customer downtime.
· Supporting the sales team with technical expertise and demonstrations as required.
· Ensuring adherence to all safety and compliance requirements in our workshop and field environments.
About You
You will possess:
· Mechanical Trade Qualification (essential)
· Minimum 5 Years mechanical experience (turf industry experience highly regarded but not essential)
· Familiarity with diagnostic and repair tools highly regarded
· Awareness of health, safety and environmental procedures and processes associated with the servicing and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication and reporting ability
· Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
· Ability to triage and troubleshoot to produce mechanical solutions
· Customer service focused and professional presentation
