We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to join our dynamic team at the Albury Wodonga Military Area.

As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading a team of culinary professionals to provide high-quality meals and events that exceed our customers' expectations.
The role involves utilising your skills in food preparation, menu planning, and inventory management to ensure seamless operations. You will also be responsible for maintaining all catering and stock controls, OH&S compliance, and HACCP with a strong focus on waste reduction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with your team to deliver exceptional customer service and experiences across daily mess meals and events
* Maintain accurate forecasting and ordering of food requirements while ensuring efficient stock control
* Drive exceptional food safety and quality with a focus on allergen and dietary requirements
* Provide high-level guidance and training to junior staff members while working collaboratively with other departments
* Maintain high-level knowledge and experience of operational and financial performances of the business
Requirements:
* Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification
* Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience as a head chef in similar venues
* Proven track record of people management, training, and developing team members
* High-level knowledge in HACCP, allergen management, and food safety
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously, with initiative, and under pressure
