Residential option to live on Groote Eylandt considered. As the Senior Civil Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the structural integrity program for site while providing expert civil and structural engineering support and governance within a brownfield operational environment.Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:Review and endorse designs, risk assessments, and inspection scopesLead engagement with external designers and inspection contractorsProvide technical assurance across both brownfield and new infrastructureSupport root cause investigations and maintain inspection recordsABOUT YOUYou will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:Delivering civil/structural design, inspections and risk management in operational settingsProviding technical leadership and mentoring to engineering professionalsDeveloping and maintaining governance systems and processes to control Civil and Structural Engineering standardsApplying safety, health and environmental design principles and driving quality outcomesEngaging effectively with stakeholders across multi-disciplinary teamsQualifications for this position are:Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Structural EngineeringHold, or be eligible for, CPEng or RPEQCurrent Class C Driver’s LicenceSouth32 is committed to building and maintaining an inclusive and diverse workforce that reflects the communities in which we operate.
