We are currently seeking experienced Care Workers to provide support to residents at our Bethanie Gwelup Aged Care Home. Bethanie Gwelup is home to a 112 bed aged care facility with secure dementia services, and has been designed to maximise our residents' enjoyment, lifestyle and wellbeing.
You will support our residents to improve their quality of life by assisting with day to day activities, ensuring their safety and wellbeing is maintained while building positive and professional relationships with residents and team members.
Our Care Workers are an integral part of the care and support we provide to residents. Applicants with at least twelve months experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.
We are looking for applicants who are able to work at least three shifts per week (between 15-35 hours) across night shifts, which are 11pm - 7am or 7.15am.
**The Role**
- Assess care plans and ensure residents' needs are met
- Ensure services (including food, laundry, personal care, domestic and interest) are delivered in a timely and safe manner
- Deliver personal care tasks (including toileting and showering) with dignity and respect
- Ensure residents' rooms and the facility environment is maintained to an appropriate standard
**About You**
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
- Previous experience working in an aged care or hospital environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well as a team, and also independently
- Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group
