About the Company This award-winning, large tier electrical contracting business has been delivering high-quality design-and-construct projects for over 20 years. Known for their work across health, commercial, industrial, and defence sectors upto $100m electrical value, so some cracking projects to be involved in. With a strong pipeline of diverse projects, they're looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their Sydney team. Your Role You will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive cost estimates for a variety of commercial and industrial projects. Your expertise will play a key role in tender submissions and supporting project success from inception to completion. Key Responsibilities Perform detailed quantity take-offs, labour and material costings, and incorporate overheads into estimates. Collaborate with engineering, project management, and procurement teams to meet tender deadlines. Utilise industry-recognised estimating software for digital take-offs and pricing. Review historical project data to improve accuracy in forecasting. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of supplier pricing, market rates, and relevant electrical standards. What You Bring Proven experience as an electrical estimator in D&C, commercial, or industrial environments. Proficiency with electrical estimating software and digital take-off tools. High attention to detail and the ability to assess risks in tendering. Strong communication skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A background or qualification as an electrician, electrical technician, or engineer will be highly regarded. Why This Role Stands Out Competitive salary package reflecting your skills and experience.
