Northern Adelaide Local Health Network – Division of Medicine, Northern Adelaide Cancer Centre – Elizabeth Vale Salary: $130,190 - $136,010 p.a. plus Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice benefits – RN3 Ongoing Full-Time About the Role: An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Nurse Consultant - Northern Adelaide Cancer Centre within the Division of Medicine. This position will offer you professional growth opportunities within a supportive and inclusive culture. In this key position you will demonstrate your experience and previous success working as a Nurse Consultant to ensure high quality care is delivered to our consumers. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the patients undergoing cancer treatment are receiving high quality care and the staff providing the care are supported in their roles with the education and guidance required. Key Responsibilities Provide expert clinical nursing consultation and advanced practice in oncology and haematology care Lead quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice implementation Mentor and support nursing staff in professional development Collaborate with medical teams to optimise patient care pathways Participate in research activities and clinical governance processes To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. About You: In this role, you will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills that support effective problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation. You will be confident in engaging in challenging conversations while fostering and maintaining positive relationships with both the multidisciplinary team and consumers of the service. The role also requires the ability to effectively manage multiple and competing priorities, together with demonstrated resilience and adaptability within a complex and fast-paced environment.
