An opportunity has presented itself for a Qualified Locomotive Driver to join our Townsville Wilmar Sugar team. What You’ll Do Operate Pacific National locomotives in compliance with safe working regulations and driver accreditation requirements. Liaise with Train Control to ensure efficient train operations and schedule adherence. Prepare and provision locomotives, including system checks and compliance documentation. Perform minor maintenance and first-level servicing activities. Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to meet operational needs. What You’ll Bring Accredited and fully qualified Locomotive Driver (Certificate IV in Train Driving). Proven locomotive driving experience. High regard for safety and compliance. Positive, team-focused attitude with ability to work autonomously. Basic computer literacy. Current full motor vehicle licence. Flexibility to work a 24/7 roster, including local and barracks work.
