About the Role
NEXTSHORE is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to support the Australian-based organisation's finance and lending teams. This is a
long-term, permanent offshore role
that operates as an extension of the onshore team.
You will deliver high-quality financial analysis, reporting, and modelling while working closely with Australian principals and senior stakeholders. The role suits a commercially minded analyst who enjoys responsibility, variety, and exposure to complex financial work.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Analysis & Reporting
* Prepare and analyse financial statements, management reports, and cash flow forecasts
* Build and maintain financial models, scenario analysis, and summary packs
* Identify trends, risks, and anomalies requiring escalation or action
* Deliver accurate, well-structured, and client-ready financial outputs
Advisory & Lending Support
* Support advisory, turnaround, and commercial lending engagements
* Assist with credit analysis, financial diagnostics, and due diligence work
* Prepare internal analysis and summaries to support decision-making
Stakeholder & Workflow Support
* Work directly with Australian-based principals and senior advisors
* Act as a trusted offshore finance partner to onshore teams
* Contribute to improving efficiency, consistency, and quality of workflows
Systems & Process Improvement
* Advanced use of Excel for modelling, analysis, and reporting
* Work with accounting platforms such as Xero, MYOB, or similar
* Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, templates, and processes
About You
* Bachelor's degree in
Accounting, Finance, Commerce
, or equivalent
* 3–5+ years' experience
in finance, accounting, banking, or advisory roles
* Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
(essential)
* Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
* Confident written and verbal communication skills (business-level English)
* Comfortable working across multiple workstreams and ambiguous problems
* Proactive, solution-focused, and keen to develop advisory capability
Experience supporting
Australian or international clients
is highly regarded but not essential.
