Senior Manager, Cyclotron Quality Assurance
The Royal Darwin Hospital's Cyclotron Facility is a cutting-edge facility producing radioisotopes used in the Position Emission Tomography (PET) scanner.
We are currently recruiting a Senior Manager, Cyclotron Quality Assurance to oversee the management of quality and safety procedures within the Darwin Medical Cyclotron (DMC) facility.
Key responsibilities include ensuring the ongoing QA compliance of radiopharmaceutical production to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) level standards.
This role involves overseeing the Quality Control of radiopharmaceuticals for release to the PET service of the hospital, maintaining pre-existing Quality Management Systems and Quality Assurance programs, and fostering a positive workplace culture through exemplary leadership and role modelling.
To be successful, you will require tertiary qualifications in chemistry, pharmacy or a relevant discipline, proven experience as a mid-level to senior level QC role within a GMP/TGA environment manufacturing radiopharmaceuticals on cyclotron and synthesis modules.
