Our client is looking for an experienced Training Officer to join their team on a 6-month temporary contract with the possibility of extension starting in late January/February 2026.
Your new role:
* Design, coordinate, and deliver training sessions and workshops to support the implementation of the Program across relevant areas.
* Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to ensure ongoing quality and relevance.
* Maintain awareness of contemporary trends, methodologies, and standards in training, development, and assessment.
* Lead and advise on learning and development strategies, ensuring alignment with departmental policies and objectives.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to understand needs, provide support, and ensure training programs meet business objectives.
* Coordinate resources for training activities and report on outcomes, activity levels, and resource utilization.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and productive environment that supports equity, diversity, and achievement of program goals.
What you'll need to succeed
* Demonstrated experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating technical training and development programs.
* Strong ability to lead, manage, and facilitate teams, including prioritizing tasks, delegating work, and overseeing training initiatives.
* Proven capability to achieve results and deliver high-quality products and services that meet customer needs and timelines.
* Well-developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills for consultation, negotiation, and development of training materials.
* Demonstrated conceptual and analytical skills to develop innovative solutions for complex challenges.
* C Class Driver's license
* Must obtain a Working with Children's card.
