Overview
We are seeking a General Manager to lead a high-performing purpose-built residential portfolio. You will be responsible for delivering the Value Creation Plan, driving occupancy and revenue growth, and overseeing operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead portfolio performance and drive margin improvement.
* Build constructive relationships with partner organisations to influence strategic outcomes.
* Implement revenue optimisation strategies, including dynamic pricing and ancillary income streams.
* Oversee refurbishment, reconfiguration, and facilities management projects.
* Support refinancing and long-term investment initiatives.
* Monitor service providers and ensure compliance with statutory, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
* Enhance data visibility and reporting to inform commercial decisions.
* Represent the business externally through stakeholder engagement and market presence.
What we2re looking for
* A strategic operator with experience in property or residential asset management, skilled at balancing operational delivery with stakeholder engagement and growth initiatives.
* Proven leadership in operational real estate, ideally PBSA, purpose-built residential, or education-linked infrastructure.
* Experience in turnaround, performance improvement, and complex stakeholder management.
* Commercial acumen with revenue growth and cost management experience; familiarity with private equity or fund-owned platforms preferred.
* Strong strategic mindset, execution capability, and financial literacy.
* Collaborative leader with excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
* Experience in regional Australia/Tasmania advantageous.
