Job Description
The Senior Ecologist will lead project delivery, engage with clients, and mentor a high-performing team across field and office-based work. They will have proven knowledge in fauna, flora, ecological communities, and ecosystems, with a focus on Queensland regions like the Brigalow Belt, North Queensland, and SEQ Bioregions.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop an advanced ecological technical practice supporting diverse projects and our clients' biggest challenges
* Oversee technical teams to deliver field investigations, impact assessment and mitigation design
* Be responsible for outstanding client service through risk-based strategic advice and high-quality technical reporting
* Implement efficiencies and digital solutions to collaborate and work smarter
* Drive strategic growth, technical excellence, and innovation in ecological assessments and management planning for projects in transport, water security, energy and future-fuels sectors.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of ecological experience, a relevant degree, and a valid Class C driver's license (4WD experience preferred).
