Job Summary
Experienced Podiatrists required for a short‐term locum at a regional health service located approximately four hours from Adelaide. The role starts ASAP and will last for three months or longer.
* January/February start for three months or longer.
* Outpatients with high risk feet, complex wound care.
* Locum rates & free accommodation with travel reimbursement.
Key Responsibilities & Scope
* Rural generalist caseload. Primarily outpatients, including some inpatients, aged‐care and paediatrics. May include outreach to rural and remote communities. Caseload assigned based on experience.
* Regional/rural experience preferred - working with Aboriginal consumers, high risk wound experience.
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team including OT, PT, SP, SW, O&P, DT, Diabetes Educators, Orthotics & Prosthetics and Wound Nurse. The podiatry department will soon consist of 3 contractor/FIFO staff.
* Work in the local community. A car is provided for work purposes. The role will be Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
* Open to AHP levels 1, 2 or 3.
