The Role
Use approved processes & data, provided training & relevant technical domain knowledge, aviation industry & leadership experience to fulfill MH-60R and broader defence rotary wing technical support services within required timeframes through:
* Performing complex technical assessments & associated tasks.
* Engaging with stakeholders, including US Navy MH-60R FMS partners, to deliver and exercise appropriate technical delegations.
* Providing technical knowledge & advice in relation to complex work or difficult issues.
* Contributing to strategic planning, program & project management.
About our Team
TESSU's main role is the conduct of MH-60R helicopter Military Type Certificate Holder functions & agreed MH-60R Continuing Airworthiness & Military Air Operator Technical Support Services. Technical support to broader defence rotary wing design activities & flight trials also occurs on a needs/capacity basis.
TESSU is a diverse team of APS and ADF staff all driven to ensure both the airworthiness and mission readiness of the RAN's MH-60R helicopter fleet and the safety of its aviators and aircraft maintenance staff. This position will suit an aircraft maintenance engineer, aircraft technician or similar with a proven ability for complex technical work and to lead a small team.

* Strong written & oral communication skills & computer literacy (MS Products & corporate IT systems).
* Aviation, preferably rotary wing, technical experience & expertise.
* Prior experience working under Defence Aviation Safety Regulations or similar civilian and/or military aviation technical regulations.
