Founded in 1910, Motor Traders' Association of NSW ("MTA NSW") is the peak Employer's Association dedicated to representing owners and business principals in the NSW automotive industry. We support our members in the daily running of their businesses, as well as lobbying governing bodies to ensure a long and viable automotive industry in NSW.
MTA NSW has been operating as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), delivering flexible training across NSW since 1996. We continue to develop a strong and successful training model, which delivers benefits to employers and learners in the automotive industry.

The role requires an individual with experience in Automotive Light Vehicle and the appropriate qualification. Ideally, applicants will have a minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience in the field to complement their training capacity.
This position focuses on delivering quality automotive industry-specific training, enabling individuals to gain a nationally recognized qualification. Training is conducted one-on-one at the learner's workplace over 1-3 years. The role involves training students within your local area and other Regional NSW areas; therefore, a current unrestricted NSW driver's license is required.
The Requirements:
* 5+ years relevant trade experience
* Hold a Certificate III in Automotive Light Vehicle
* Ability to pass a Working with Children Check for training individuals under 18
* Police Check
* Current unrestricted NSW driver's license
* Company car (fully maintained)
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

MTA NSW is based in Burwood; however, this role requires training apprentices in your local area and across Regional NSW. Willingness to travel is essential. You will also need to attend meetings at our Burwood head office periodically.
Having a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is advantageous; if not held, we will fund your qualification. As a Registered Training Organisation, applicants must be compliance-focused, eager to learn, and willing to expand their skills.
