Works Ready Coordinator Role

We seek a meticulous planner and problem-solver to ensure seamless execution of substations projects as a Works Ready Coordinator.

This role is based at our state-of-the-art Glen Waverley depot, where you will work with a highly supportive and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan & Prepare: Scope works, secure materials, book services, and ensure everything is in place before crews begin work.
* Optimise Efficiency: Reduce travel time, maximise resources, and streamline work packages for peak productivity.
* Risk & Quality Control: Visit sites, identify potential issues, and develop solutions before work starts.
* Data & Reporting: Keep projects on track with accurate data management and reporting.
* Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with field crews, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

About You

We are looking for someone who wants to work with an industry leader in power services, where your skills make an impact. Ideally, you have an electrical/utilities background or experience in power, project management, or a related field. Key qualifications include:

* Background in power, project management, or a related field.
* 5+ years' experience in construction, maintenance planning, or scheduling within electrical networks.
* Solid computer skills (SAP, Microsoft Office, etc.).
* Good understanding of VESI requirements is ideal.
* Problem-solving mindset with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
* A passion for safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
* Driver's license is essential.
