HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
1. Monitor open purchase requisitions
2. Developing and supporting rapport with internal customers, external customers and service providers
3. Monitor the physical movement of shipments across the supply chain until final delivery
4. Collect supporting data to create reports, tracking on time delivery
5. Taking proactive measures with the carriers to eliminate transit delays
6. Managing and processing the documentation of export shipments from A to Z
7. Track inbound material shipments to warehouse
8. Manage shipments under customs clearance, provideadditional information as required
9. Coordinate deliveries between the freight forwarder and the warehouse
10. Monitor material receiving at warehouse and ensure the stock has been correctly received
11. Monitor sales orders released from warehouse are being processed correctly
12. Support Customer Service Team with orders queries
13. Manage new product item setup
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE:
14. Experience in logistics / freight forwarding in a similar role
15. Strong analytic skills in MS Excel
16. Excellent written and oral communication skills
17. Must be able to support managers within the company.
18. Must have strong communication skills; able to communicate effectively
19. Ability to adjust to rapidly changing priorities and incorporate changes seamlessly
20. Result orientation, accountability, critical thinking, problem solving, project and change management, and team working/building
