Our culture is diverse, friendly and open to ideas. The Role Reporting to the Finance Manager of Northern Beaches Hospital, this role provides management of the transactional services at NBH. This role is based onsite Monday through Friday.Key Responsibilities Manage Accounts Payable (1 x FTE and 1 x casual) Manage Accounts Receivable (1 x FTE) – ED collections, Sundry collections, Banking Manage the Billing team (approx. 4 FTE) Manage Private Practice Billing Prepare the Monthly claim to the state for Public Billing Resolve billing errors Prepare the Public Billing Receipt reconciliation Managing and following up rejected Episodes Monitor and Manage outstanding Billing days Look for opportunities to maximise revenue Manage the Rate change process in the system for Private Health Insurers Debtor oversight and analysis including partnering with the Central Collections Team Co-ordinate any refunds required Knowledge for Success Data manipulation and analysis Health Experience advantageous.
