About the Role
This is a hands‑on leadership position at the centre of our service operations. Reporting into the Service Manager - QLD, you'll oversee field activities, support technician performance, and ensure smooth, efficient branch operations. Working closely with technicians, Customer Service Coordinators, and other internal teams, and customers, you'll drive safety, scheduling efficiency, service quality, and ongoing improvement.

What You'll Do
* Provide on‑the‑ground technical support, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs
* Coach and mentor technicians to lift capability and performance
* Monitor efficiency, first‑time fix rates, and customer satisfaction
* Collaborate with the Service Manager and Coordinators to optimise scheduling and reduce overtime
* Resolve escalated service issues quickly and professionally
* Conduct audits, enforce WH&S standards, and ensure accurate documentation
* Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams
What You'll Need
Qualifications & Licenses:
* Trade qualification in Electrical, Refrigeration, or Gas Fitting (preferred)
* Restricted Disconnect/Reconnect Electrical Licence (essential)
* Full Electrical License (highly regarded)
* Valid driver's license, Police Check & WWCC
Experience:
* 3+ years servicing commercial food & beverage equipment
* Proven leadership of technicians or small teams
* Strong fault‑finding, installation, and preventative maintenance skills
* Solid understanding of WH&S and compliance
