What You'll Be Doing
As part of the Aboriginal Mental Health Team, the Senior Aboriginal Mental Health Clinician will provide leadership and support for Aboriginal Mental Health Clinicians, hold strong cultural knowledge and support the team in the development, delivery and review of service in order to deliver culturally safe and appropriate therapeutic and clinical interventions across the lifespan that positively contribute to social and emotional wellbeing and broader determinants of health for individuals, families and communities.
About You
Do you have current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia with at least 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience and post graduate qualifications in the relevant field; or Bachelor Degree in Social Work or other equivalent qualification providing eligibility for membership of AASW; or Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualifications recognised for registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia; or Current full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia with a four year degree in psychology, being a three year degree with a fourth year honours in psychology, or a qualification deemed equivalent by the employer and have completed a minimum of one year at the 9th year of service and thereafter point on the salary scale for Psychologist; or must hold as a minimum a bachelor degree in counselling or a related field, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
