We are recruiting for a Casual Chef de Partie at the National Portrait Gallery Canberra.
About the role
* Based at the National Portrait Gallery Canberra
* Work closely with the Sous and Head Chefs to ensure efficient food production and quality control
* Level 6 pay rate of $38.85 per hour plus super
* Run your own section in a high-quality and high-volume cafe environment
* Ensure the highest standards of presentation and quality
* Changing menu to match Museum exhibitions
* Mostly day shifts – excellent work/life balance

About you
* Qualifications in Cert III Commercial Cookery
* Experience in fast-paced cafe or events environmen
* Excellent communication skills
* A passion for cooking, and be open to learning new skills in the kitchen
* Valid working rights in Australia
