At Yooralla, we invite you to embark on a journey where you can truly make a positive impact. Join our High Intensity Outside School Hours Team working in a specialist school setting and become an integral part of our mission to support school‑aged children and young people (aged 5‑18) with disabilities in choosing the lives they want to live.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with fellow educators/OSHC team, children and parents to foster positive relationships in the community and create meaningful and engaging experiences to support children's learning, engagement and wellbeing.

We have casual and/or part time positions available working Monday to Friday
After School Care: 3.00pm - 6.00pm
Vacation Care: 9.00am-6.00pm

We offer a competitive hourly salary. You might get paid more than you think, and you can pick up additional shifts when they suit you Plus, you have the option of generous salary packaging benefits to increase your take home pay and reduce your taxable income.


About you

We're looking for people who are passionate, have a great attitude and an eagerness to learn. To be successful in this role you'll share Yooralla's values and have:

* Experience in the OSHC/early education or disability services sector.
* Qualifications or be actively working towards a certification in alignment with the Victorian ACECQA National Quality Framework – desirable.
* Willingness to be committed to empowering children/young people to reach their goals, and to upholding quality and safeguards in your everyday work.
* Effective communication skills, and good English literacy to communicate well with our clients.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team.
* Willingness to support children/young people with personal care activities.
* Willingness to obtain a First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates if you don't already have one.
* Child Protection Training / Mandatory Reporting.
* Completed or willingness to complete learning frameworks/modules.

Successful appointment with Yooralla is subject to mandatory safeguarding checks, including a Working with Children's Check and evidence of Australian work rights, etc.
