Job Title: Trade Sales Representative
Establish and maintain strong relationships with local trade clients to expand the customer base and promote company initiatives.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Expanding the trade customer base through effective sales strategies
* Liaising with trade customers to respond to their enquiries and provide product recommendations
* Promoting company initiatives, such as the Trade Loyalty Program and Trade accounts, to local electricians and builders
* Visiting new and existing customers to promote special offers and products
* Educating other store team members on trade-based opportunities
* Meeting KPIs and delivering on sales budgets
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have a background in sales, with trade sales experience highly regarded. They will possess strong communication skills, the ability to connect with customers, and the confidence to cold-call and win over new business. Additionally, they should have an energetic and enthusiastic approach to all aspects of their job, as well as a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise work effectively.
