Jetty and Marine Constructions is a leading marine construction contractor delivering projects throughout Western Australia. Our work includes marinas, jetties, boat ramps, commercial marine infrastructure, piling, demolition, reef developments, and other specialist marine construction projects.

We are seeking an experienced Vessel Master to join our team. This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who enjoys operating vessels and working as part of a construction crew. The successful applicant must be willing to travel and work away from home on project‐based rosters throughout WA.

You will be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of company vessels while supporting a wide range of marine construction activities.

• Operating workboats and construction support vessels.
• Spotter vessel operations.
• Barge movements and positioning.
• Anchor handling and deployment.
• Towing operations.
• Hipping up and pushing barges.
• Assisting marine construction crews on‐site.
• Vessel maintenance and basic engineering duties.
• Supporting project logistics and marine operations.
• General construction and labouring tasks when vessel operations are not required.

This is a dual‐role position, and applicants must be prepared to contribute across both marine and construction operations.

Demonstrated experience with towing operations.

Experience handling and manoeuvring barges.

Understanding of barge pushing, hipping up procedures, and towing techniques.

Strong knowledge of marine safety and vessel operations.

Ability to work away from home on project rosters.

Current driver's licence.

Construction Industry White Card.

Strong work ethic and willingness to assist across all aspects of project delivery.

• Welding or boilermaking experience.
• Excavator, loader or other plant operating tickets.
• Senior First Aid.
