About the role
We have an opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer to be part of our Network and Security Platform, Technology & Communication Services Command. This role provides high-level network engineering support for a diverse range of data and communications network infrastructure, including core networks, and remote site connectivity. This involves overseeing the installation, monitoring, and maintenance of NSWPF network and performance.

To be successful in this role, you will:
- Lead the technical development and continuous enhancement of Network Security solutions.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in deploying and managing Firewalls, SASE, Email Security, Load Balancers, and Remote Access solutions.
- Provide strategic input into solution design, release planning, and product lifecycle management.
- Engage in troubleshooting, incident response, and proactive problem resolution to maintain service integrity.
- Mentor and guide team members, offering technical leadership across networking services and tools.
- Proven ability to operate within complex ICT environments, with a robust focus on innovation, resilience, and reliability.
- Proficient in monitoring and visibility tools such as SolarWinds and Splunk.
