Overview

The “No Gammin – Koori Pathways Program is a professional development program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff employed in various entry level roles within the Courts, Tribunals and Service Delivery business area of the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ).

We are recruiting now to build a talent pool to fill ongoing and temporary roles as they become available over the next 18 months in the Greater Sydney Metropolitan area and Regional NSW. Participants will be employed by DCJ and be part of a training cohort enrolled in a Certificate IV in Business. Training is during business hours and delivered in face-to-face blocks and online.

You’ll be supported. Program participants will have access to a workplace buddy system during the entire program, as well as access to the Walanga Muru Aboriginal Employee Network (AEN). A safe space for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff to connect, share experiences, and support one another. Salary - $75,728pa - $82,329pa + super and annual leave loading.

What You Will Do

Working in a court registry offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Situations can shift quickly, requiring adaptability and focus.

If you have experience in clerical and administrative support, are confident using computer systems to accurately enter and manage data, possess strong time management skills, maintain a professional demeanour, and thrive in a collaborative team setting—this role could be an excellent fit for you.
