Finance Business Partner Opportunity Overview
Job Description:
We are seeking an exceptional Finance Business Partner to join our organization. As a hybrid role, you will be responsible for providing strategic partnership and meticulous operational control. Your commercial insights will directly influence key business decisions, and you will demand both strategic partnership and operational control.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic & Commercial Partnering: Actively partner with business unit leaders to steer financial planning and forecasting, utilizing robustness and strong social skills to provide insights that influence key business decisions.
* Operational Control & PTP: Manage urgent payment requests, ensure costs are properly applied in operational systems, and act as the gatekeeper for all internal controls and compliance to Group governance frameworks.
* Revenue Management & Collections: Drive profitability by ensuring timeliness and completeness of revenue billing and aggressively managing Accounts Receivable collections to meet payment terms.
* Payroll & Statutory Compliance: Oversee monthly payroll submissions, ensure accurate maintenance of employee data, and manage tax filings.
* Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Contribute to FP&A activities, including detailed profitability analysis, performance evaluation, and forecasting.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is highly regarded.
* Demonstrated prior experience in a Finance Business Partnering role is essential.
* Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) functions.
* Strong interpersonal and social skills with proven ability to influence stakeholders.
* Solid knowledge of financial controls and compliance best practices.
* Logistics or Freight Forwarding experience is a plus but not mandatory.
* Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, with NetSuite experience being highly regarded.
* Ability to work effectively and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
