The Opportunity

VivaEnergy's Geelong Refinery converts crude oil into transport fuels, solvents,plasticand bitumen, playing a key role in transitioning to sustainable energy solutions. You will work across our Geelong Refinery and join our Reliability team, working closely with our Maintenance,Projectsand Operations teams, where you willacquirevaluable skills and experience in the following areas:

* Power generation and High voltage and Low voltage electrical distribution systems including transformers and substations ,
* Electrical load management systems and energy efficiency strategies for large industrial facilities,
* High voltage and low voltage motors,
* Compliance with safety standards, hazardous area classifications and electrical isolation procedures,
* State of the art field instrumentation including field transducers and control valves,
* Industrial Automation including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), microcontrollers, safety systems and distributed control systems (DCS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Systems (SCADA),
* Process control system configuration/design and programming to automate refinery operation,
* Safety Instrumented systems,
* Online process analysers,
* Cyber security for Industrial Automation Control Systems (IACS/OT) threat identification, risk assessment and countermeasures,
* Electrical and instrumentation maintenance planning, fault diagnosis and equipment reliability improvement,
* Telecommunications including network switches, telemetry and fibre optics,
* Risk management including hazard identification, engineering controls and mitigations,
* Communication with stakeholders and coordination of field crews, and
* Problem solving and troubleshooting.

* Australian or New Zealand citizen or hold permanent residency
* Completed the relevant undergraduate or post‐graduate degree in the required discipline (within the past 2 years) prior to commencing the program
