About the Role
It is an opportunity to join Iluka Resources as a Logistics Coordinator supporting the delivery of exploration and development geology field programs across multiple sites in Australia. The role is well suited to candidates with a background in field‐based exploration and experience supporting field programs and site logistics. Based in Adelaide, the role is on‐the‐ground, coordinating field logistics, supporting safe operations and ensuring programs are delivered efficiently and in line with environmental and stakeholder requirements. Reporting to the Senior Logistician, the role is a hands‐on position with regular travel to remote locations and interstate travel, including periods away from home and time spent in remote locations.
- Planning and coordinating logistics for drilling programs – travel, accommodation, vehicles and equipment
- Supporting safe and compliant field operations in line with company policies
- Coordinating the movement of personnel, equipment and consumables across multiple sites
- Managing sample collection, storage and transport
- Supporting site rehabilitation activities and ensuring commitments to stakeholders are met
- Assisting with field communications, navigation equipment and site set‐up
About You
- Experience in drilling and sampling techniques and methodologies
- Strong logistics coordination and planning capability within field‐based operations
- Experience working in remote environments, including coordination of camp setup and operations
- Experience using remote communication and navigation equipment
- Valid C‐class driver's licence
- Required permits and certifications:
- Advanced First Aid (minimum)
- 4WD
- Forklift
- Preferred licences or certifications:
- UTV
- Telehandler
- Skidsteer
- Truck licence LR, MR or HR
- Drone licence
- Defensive driving
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and exposure to GIS software (desirable)
- Familiarity with purchasing or SAP processes (desirable)
