Responsibilities
* Collect blood, urine, swabs, and other pathology samples from patients.
* Ensure accurate patient identification and specimen labelling.
* Prepare and store specimens according to protocols.
* Complete paperwork and data entry with attention to detail.
* Maintain cleanliness and safety in the collection area.
* Provide clear instructions and support to patients.
* Follow infection control and workplace safety procedures.
* Assist with general administrative and clerical tasks.
Qualifications and Skills
* Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection, or relevant industry experience.
* Excellent customer service skills, both face-to-face and over the phone.
* Strong time management and organisational abilities.
* Sound clinical knowledge and understanding of specimen collection procedures.
* Effective communication skills with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
* Ability to work independently and flexibly across weekday and weekend shifts.
* Basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
* Current and valid Driver's Licence.
