This is a hands‐on contract opportunity for a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to step into a busy, high-performing team and support the delivery of major industry events, campaigns and advocacy communications. You will play a key role across a range of initiatives, including a flagship annual conference and exhibition, industry awards programme, and broader advocacy and communications activity. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, can work at pace, and is confident producing clear, engaging content across multiple channels.
Opportunity
You will be responsible for developing and delivering content that drives engagement across events, campaigns and industry communications. This includes creating digital content, supporting campaign execution, and working closely with internal stakeholders to bring key initiatives to life.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop engaging content for a flagship national conference and exhibition, including website updates, speaker profiles and campaign messaging
* Create promotional content and communications for a national industry awards programme, including nomination campaigns and event collateral
* Write and coordinate advocacy newsletters covering policy updates, industry insights and key initiatives
* Support communications for a major industry report, including launch activity and digital content creation
* Assist with day-to-day marketing delivery across social media, website updates, campaigns and stakeholder communications
About You
You are a confident communicator with strong writing skills and the ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging content. You're organised, proactive and comfortable working across multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
You will bring:
* Experience in marketing, communications or content roles
* Strong written communication and content development skills
* Experience supporting campaigns, events or stakeholder communications
* Ability to manage competing deadlines and work collaboratively
* Experience with digital channels, social media and website content updates
