What You'll Do
* Implement and manage various development, testing, automation tools, and infrastructure for internal and external stakeholders.
* Implement and manage containerised environments.
* Oversee code release and deployment processes.
* Identify, manage, and maintain both new and existing software engineering tools and infrastructure.
* Design and develop automations to improve software engineering efficiency and reduce risk.
* Manage continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
* Solve interesting performance and architectural challenges.
* Application scaling, performance management and metrics.
* Mentoring and guiding other team members.
Key Criteria
* Bachelor of Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant industry experience.
* Experience developing engineering applications for a large corporation.
* Experience managing and deploying Docker/Kubernetes environments.
* Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures.
* Experience with creating and maintaining distributed systems and monolith applications.
* Experience working with teams to design and execute a proposed project plan.
* Familiarity with static/dynamic application security testing.
* Ability to design and implement complex software architecture solutions.
* PHP/Laravel experience highly regarded.
