As the Stores Senior Assistant, you will support the smooth running of the warehouse and assume responsibility when the supervisor is unavailable. You will manage incoming and outgoing stock, ensure correct storage practices, complete dispatch documentation, and maintain accurate inventory records. This role involves stock replenishment, transport coordination, supplier communication, and participation in quarterly stocktakes. You will also assist with quality inspections, maintain housekeeping standards, manage waste disposal, and contribute to documentation control and equipment calibration processes as required.What you'll need to succeed
1. Previous forklift experience and HRWL
2. Computer literacy
3. Experience in warehousing, stores, logistics, or a related field
4. Strong organisational skills and ability to maintain a clean, efficient workspace
5. Good communication and negotiation skills
6. Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks (lifting, pushing, pulling, standing, etc.)
7. Based in Rockhampton
