Project Cost Estimator Role
Job Overview:
The successful candidate will lead the cost estimation efforts for Future Air Mobility SPO, reporting to the Lead PM. The role involves delivering accurate cost estimates and schedules while supporting the broader project team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Establish cost estimation practices in line with Defence policies.
* Manage and deliver cost estimation requirements for client projects.
* Develop and provide schedule analysis reports as needed.
* Collaborate with the Program Management Function team to centralise project controls activities.
* Review and refine project controls artefacts to support program strategic outcomes.
* Mentor and transfer knowledge on project controls and reporting expertise.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven expertise and experience in cost estimation.
* Experience working in the Defence Aviation Environment.
* Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Advanced MS Office skills, including Excel and Project.
* Familiarity with Defence Project Management tools (OPP desirable).
Desirable Skills:
* Experience in complex stakeholder engagement.
* Knowledge of CASG SPO environment.
