CEVA Logistics is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our facility in Pinkenba, QLD location. This role is to coordinate import shipments with all stakeholders locally and internationally to meet customer expectations and to ensure a profitable transaction.**WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?**
- Strong Freight Forwarding / Operational knowledge
- Minimum 2-5 years previous experience in a customer service freight forwarding role
- First point of contact for your portfolio of accounts
- Maintain daily/weekly status reports with accuracy
- Coordinate freight bookings with origin stations
- Assist with customer order follow ups / tracking and daily enquiries
- Proactively keep customers informed on shipment and exception status
- Provide adhoc quotes for both air and sea
- Identify potential issues and provide proactive problem solving
- Development and maintain strong working relationship with allocated customers
**WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**
- Understanding of Import/Export processes
- General knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage dispute resolution
- Excellent written communication
- Ability to work in a team
