Simulation and Training Specialist
This is an opportunity to join a team that provides dynamic air traffic services. You will be responsible for managing simulation and ATC datasets, facilitating ATS training sessions, operating pseudo pilot functions in training, developing and delivering training materials, assessing training effectiveness, and preparing exercises.
You will be working on the Thales CMATS Project, which aims to deliver a harmonised civil/military air traffic management system in Australia. This project will enable a new level of safety and efficiency, while also reducing delays for the travelling public and providing opportunities to improve environmental outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have experience with air traffic management systems, either as a user or systems specialist. Familiarity with the air traffic services environment and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues arising during training delivery are essential skills.
Intermediate skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) are required, and experience in developing aviation simulation exercises for training environments is desirable.
A defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.
Key Responsibilities
