Estia Health Glen Waverley is a welcoming and light-filled home offering care to the east Melbourne community. Located on a quiet residential street, the home backs on to Bogong Reserve and is close to local shops and buses, a short drive to the train station.
About the role
Estia Health Glen Waverley has an exciting opportunity for anexperienced Maintenance Officerto join our team on a Permanent Part Time basis (Monday till Friday, any 3 days a week role).
Permanent Part Time Position (20 hours per week)
- Monday to Friday/5 days a week | 9 am -1 pm (preferred) or
- Monday and Wednesday | 9 am - 5 pm, and Friday 9 am - 2 pm (to make up total of 20 hours per week)
You'll take pride in the presentation of a well maintained home and join a team of dedicated and caring individuals that are enriching and celebrating residents' lives everyday
In this busy role you'll:
- Use your can-do, collaborative approach to ensure the presentation of the home is of the highest standard
- Enjoy the variety of working both inside and outside, the challenge of a multitude of different tasks and the opportunity of getting to know residents as you support them with their maintenance requirements
- Have good attention to detail, the ability to co-ordinate the maintenance program and excellent record keeping in this interesting role where your general handy skills are highly valued
