About the Role Our client (Airconditioning and Electrical) is looking for an experienced Mechanical Construction Supervisor on a full time basis in Townsville. The Mechanical Construction Supervisor provides strong leadership and direction to technicians, tradespeople, and apprentices to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of works. The role is responsible for coordinating day-to-day labour, materials, plant, contractors, and schedules. Communicating company policies, expectations, meeting KPI's and project requirements. Mentoring and developing team members; and facilitating regular team, project, and site meetings. Working closely with the Department Manager and WHS&E Advisor, the Supervisor ensures compliance with safety, quality, and company standards, manages project risks, supports performance reviews, and drives productivity, accountability, and profitability across all construction activities. This role is responsible for supervising and delivering large-scale commercial and industrial mechanical and refrigeration installation and refurbishment works across our clients diverse construction projects. Essential Criteria, Qualifications and License Requirements Current C Class Drivers Licence QLD Trade Licence General Construction Card Security clearances and Blue Card Additional licences highly regarded Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following Commitment to the production of high-quality work and the ability and desire to always deliver exceptional customer service. The ability to work autonomously and within a team. Previous Supervisor/management experience would be highly advantageous. Strong Communication - written & verbal.
