About the Role
Right at Home is seeking compassionate and reliable Female Disability Support Workers to join a 24/7 support roster for a female participant based in Tweed Heads, NSW.
As a Disability Support Worker, you will deliver person-centred care that promotes independence, community inclusion, and personal choice. You’ll work closely with the exsisting team and Care Partner to support individual needs and goals.
Shifts available: Monday - Sunday with passive sleepover shifts available nightly.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide personal care, including assistance with daily living activities.
* Support overnight needs during passive sleepover shifts.
* Assist with mobility, manual handling, and exercise routines.
* Encourage participation in social, recreational, and community activities.
* Assist with domestic tasks such as meal preparation and light housekeeping.
* Document care provided and follow individual service plans.
* Collaborate with Care Partner and Nursing team to support client goals.
What You’ll Need
* Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability).
* Current First Aid & CPR certificate.
* NDIS Worker Screening Check & Orientation Module Certificate.
* Police Clearance.
* Open Australian Driver’s Licence with comprehensive Insurance
* Reliable vehicle.
* Valid working rights in Australia.
* Smartphone with internet access.
