Domestic Services Department pride ourselves on the high standards of cleanliness throughout our services. Healthcare Cleaners are a valued member of the Healthcare Team and are respected for the work they do.
Healthcare Cleaners provide a range of cleaning duties across the Trust and support services to ensure a safe, efficient and effective service to all patients, staff and visitors is delivered.
Shift pattern Monday to Friday 15:30 - 19:00 contracted 17.5 hours a week. Band 2 post.
Main duties of the job
- Basic knowledge of cleaning standards and previous experience of working in a hospital environment, which can include wards, outpatient/clinical areas.
- You must be able to work alone or as part of a team.
- If you are proactive and think you can help us to maintain our standards and contribute to the positive experience of our patients, we would like to invite you to apply.
- Deliver the highest standards of cleaning service to the ward at all times observing work schedules and The National Specifications for cleanliness in the NHS requirements.
- Changing window nets, curtains, screen and bed curtains wipe/wash nets and shower curtains periodically, making beds in residential areas.
- Damp wiping of all furniture, fixtures and fittings, ledges, pipes, tiles, glass partitions, walls, doors and panels, internal window blinds.
- The successful candidates will receive full induction training.
