Key Responsibilities
* Set the strategic direction for the organisation, aligned with our purpose and values.
* Drive operational excellence through effective leadership and management of our diverse and talented workforce.
* Develop and implement strategies to achieve our goals and objectives, including environmental management and conservation projects, tourism, cultural heritage, community partnerships, infrastructure, and revenue generation.
* Strengthen partnerships with Traditional Owners, ensuring cultural values, knowledge, and self-determination are embedded in all aspects of planning and land management.
* Represent the organisation at a senior level, engaging with Ministers, government agencies, stakeholders, and local communities.
Requirements
* Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of steering complex organisations through significant transformation and growth.
* Strong governance capability, with deep understanding of public sector governance, policy, and stakeholder relationships.
* Commercial acumen, with a proven ability to drive sustainable funding models, oversee major projects, and manage operational risk.
* Compelling communication and ambassadorial skills, able to inspire trust, influence partners, and engage meaningfully with local communities and stakeholders.
