Pinnacle College is a non-denominational, independent school (F-12) located in the northern suburbs of Adelaide. A distinctive feature of Pinnacle College is its diversity; it is a place where multicultural values and principles are actively supported and nurtured. About The Role
We are seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced secondary English teachers for a full time, fixed term contract position to commence in 2026. The successful applicant will be a qualified and registered teacher with a clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum for English, and experience teaching English at the secondary and SACE level. We are seeking an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about inspiring students to engage with literature, develop their critical thinking, and achieve excellence in their literacy skills.
Essential Criteria
- Experience teaching secondary and SACE English
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- A passion for inspiring students to learn
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity
- Flexibility and an ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to work with a variety of IT software platforms
- A commitment to the mission, vision, and core values of the College
- South Australian teacher registration
