Work as a Rehabilitation Specialist
Kairros is hiring a rehabilitation professional to deliver client-centered assessment and intervention to support recovery and return to work.
You will be part of a close-knit team that supports individuals who have sustained a psychological or physical injury in the workplace.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough assessments, including activities of daily living, home, worksite, functional, ergonomic, and equipment evaluations.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to prioritize clients' best interests and facilitate their return to work.
* Develop targeted strategies to enhance life independence, vocational capacity, and functional performance.
* Familiarize yourself with various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes.
Essential Qualifications
* A willingness to travel, requiring a current vehicle and driver's license.
* Full registration with AHPRA, ESSA, or ASORC.
* Qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, or Rehabilitation Counselling.
* A passion for injury prevention, facilitating return to independence at work and at home, and making a positive impact.
* Exceptional communication skills and a commitment to delivering results.
* An inclusive and integrative attitude towards engaging with diverse cultural groups.
