About Bright FACES
Bright FACES is a purpose-driven paediatric clinic located in Melton, VIC. We support neurodiverse children and their families through evidence-based, compassionate care. Our warm, multidisciplinary team includes Psychologists and Occupational Therapists. We’re now looking for a Speech Pathologist who is ready to make a meaningful difference while building a lasting and satisfying career.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys independent clinical work and values being part of a collaborative team. There is also potential to step into a leadership role as our speech team expands.
What we offer
- $100,000–$120,000 salary, commensurate with experience, plus 12% superannuation
- Up to 10 weeks paid leave annually, including:
- 4 weeks annual leave
- Up to 6 additional weeks (2 weeks during each of Term 1–3 school holidays)
- Monday to Friday roster, 9:00am to 5:00pm (no weekends or after-hours work
- Full administrative support for scheduling, billing, and client enquiries
- A friendly multidisciplinary team including Psychology and Occupational Therapy
- Laptop and iPad provided
- CPD funding and regular supervision sessions (internal/external) with ongoing scheduled support
- Leadership and mentoring opportunities as the speech team team expands
- A purpose-built, child-friendly clinic designed to support both client outcomes and clinician wellbeing.
About the role
You will deliver evidence-based speech pathology services to neurodiverse children and their families, in a supportive clinical setting. You will have autonomy over your caseload with regular peer support and integrated collaboration with OTs and Psychologists.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and delivering individualised therapy
- Working with children with Autism, ADHD, and developmental language delay
- Coaching and educating parents to support carryover at home
- Running small group programs (e.g., school readiness, social communication)
- Collaborating closely with allied health colleagues for integrated care
- Participating in team meetings, reflective practice, and supervision
- Providing mentoring or support to early-career team members (optional)
About you
You’re a reflective, compassionate clinician who enjoys working in a team while managing your own caseload with confidence. You’re passionate about helping children and families thrive, and value a workplace that supports your growth and wellbeing.
To be successful, you will have:
- A recognised degree in Speech Pathology
- Eligible for membership with Speech Pathology Australia
- A current Working With Children Check
- Full Australian working rights
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Interest or experience in working with neurodiverse children
