About the Role:
Are you a Qualified Surveyor with deep expertise in engineering or land surveying for road infrastructure? At Aptella, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of civil infrastructure—ensuring every road project is delivered with precision, safety, and impact. Your technical knowledge will directly influence outcomes across all stages of major construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and perform topographic, set-out, and as-built surveys on civil and road construction projects.
* Operate high-precision survey instruments ensuring reliability and accuracy of data.
* Translate complex engineering designs into field execution, ensuring construction is built to exact specifications.
* Partner closely with engineers, project managers, and on-site teams to provide seamless survey support throughout project lifecycles.
* Deliver detailed and timely survey documentation—including as-built data, reports, and field notes—to meet compliance and project standards.
* Maintain calibration, care, and optimal performance of all surveying equipment.
* Champion safe work practices and quality assurance aligned with industry and environmental standards.
About You:
We believe excellence comes in many forms. Whether you bring experience from urban developments or remote infrastructure projects, your surveying insight matters here. You will ideally have:
* A degree or diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related discipline.
* Registration with the Surveyors Board of Queensland (SBQ) or an equivalent state body.
* 3–5 years of field experience in engineering surveying, particularly on road infrastructure.
* Outstanding attention to detail, with the ability to read and interpret civil design drawings and translate them into accurate field outputs.
* Clear communication and collaboration skills, with a respectful and team-first attitude across diverse working groups.
* A good understanding of site-based safety and environmental best practices.
* A valid driver's licence and readiness to travel as needed.
